| THE USS NIGHTMARE |
C.R.A.P.S., our partner group NKYPS, And Tommy from Paratruth investigated the
USS Nightmare on September 22nd, 2009. We went in knowing it was going to be a
challenge given the ship was already “decked” out for Halloween and their Haunted
house attraction. It was difficult setting up our equipment trying to cover this massive
vessel. We knew we had our work cut out for us, but we had to see for ourselves if there
was anything real to the “Nightmare”. There have been claims of strange noises, shadow
figures, and props being turned on by themselves. Many of the workers feel they are
being watched when no one else is around. We took infrared cameras, digital voice
recorders, EMF detectors, and various other equipment with us as we headed out to
investigate. The first thing we noticed, was the high EMF’s the ship had. This was likely
due to unshielded wiring, and possibly the cause of many of the claims of feeling
watched.
We did capture a few things that we will call, interesting. We had several personal
experiences in addition to the things we captured. We have Christel feeling something on
her arm, and marks that appear to be the shape of fingers there. We have a strange
video with a white mist appearing, then hovering for ten minutes before dissipating.
There is also audio with whistling and voices, and a photo with a shadow captured on the
middle deck. Is the USS Nightmare really haunted? Look at the evidence below and
decide for yourself.

| In this clip, a strange mist or fog comes in from the minutes. Theres no other ship in the area at the time that we know of, and we have no explanation for the way it stays in one place after moving in. We feel confident there is a "normal" explanation for this. Any ideas? |
| While investigating, Christel from NKYPS felt something touch her arm, then discovered what looks like the mark of dirty fingers. We tried to recreate this, rubbing the walls and such, but couldn't. Was she touched by "something", or is there another explanation? |
| The picture below to the left was taken on the second level of the ship. There was NO ONE in the shot when it was taken, everyone else on board was in the area behind the photographer. Upon closer inspection, you can see the shape of what appears to be someone standing there though. The picture on the right is a lightened / slightly zoomed copy of the first. Shadow person? |
